The Han river is the main river that flows through Seoul, that is bustling with people every summer. You can have a picnic, cycle, look at different performances and much more. One of the great things you can do is take a cruise that goes through parts of the river.
The Eland Cruise is one of them, that offers many different types of courses ranging from 40 to 90 minutes. Here, you can enjoy both daytime and nighttime views of Seoul along the riverbed.
Before boarding you can enjoy a nice coffee at their cafe.
As the sun sets, you get to see these wonderful views of the Seoul skyline. The cruise goes past many famous and recogniseable buildings.
One of the famous landmarks that the cruise passes, is the Seoul Namsan Tower, also known as the N-Tower (남산타워). It's visible almost anywhere in Seoul.
Another attraction the cruise passes is the Rainbow Bridge show, a watershow that the cruise passes under. Here, you can also spot other cruise passengers enjoying the show.
This specific tour was a music tour, where there were jazz performances by a singer/guitarist and drummer duo. They played two sets of well-recogniseable songs while the night was slowly falling.
Sun fully set, the light's really shine through, reflecting beautifully in the water as the cruise comes to an end.
The best time to take this cruise would be around 7PM, so that you can enjoy both the daytime and the nighttime views.
